Bethona House, is a charming cottage
with more than 500 years of history. The building is a typical structure
of Jewish origin considered as historical heritage.
The house stands on one of the village´s most singular and historical
streets, probably where the aljama or Jewish Quarter was situated. The
name of the street, Golfin Coronel, comes from the name of a national
heroe that fought against Napoleon´s troops. The house was last
remodelled in 1808, coinciding with the razing of the town by the Napoleonic
troops.
Nowadays, Bethona House has been restored
with all the modern comforts (heating, air-conditioning, internet, etc)
but respecting, at the same time, its traditional aspect, in order to
achieve a tourism accommodation of high quality.
Bethona House owns 5 independent apartments
with double bedroom, lounge, kitchen, and full bathroom. And you can
also enjoy the common areas: the library, the terrace and the garden.
Bethona House offers an unique chance
of living in a traditional Jewish residence with all its authenticity.
